I was born in Indianapolis, IN, have lived in Macomb, MI for the past 20 years, just purchased a house in Saint Clair Shores.  I enjoy hot weather during my vacations, having traveled to various states in the Eastern United States, and have had the opportunity to visit Mexico, Jamaica, and recently Italy.  My hobbies include reading, computers, astronomy, and astrophysics. I am the oldest of five children (one brother, two younger sisters, and one stepsister).  Most of my family live in the Macomb Twp. Area, although I have some ties in Florida, Wisconsin, and Italy.  I have two dogs and two cats, and they are all overweight (the animals, not my family).

I am currently one of our Internet New and Used Car Sales Consultants.  I have been certified for my 3 year sales history with Chrysler Corporation.  I sell Chrysler Dodge, and Jeep products as our franchise states, and I also sell a multitude of used products as well.  After some college I was employed in sales for a few years and then had the opportunity to join our great sales team here at Richmond, and have been with the company since July 2004.

My main job duties consist of retailing and leasing new and used cars to our large customer base.  I originally started in our Lease Retention Department, and have learned the Betterway Lease Program and enjoy sharing it with our customers.  I am familiar with all aspects of Chrysler lease vehicles and their leasing process.

My favorite vehicle that we offer is the Chrysler Pacifica.  It has such a large range of equipment and options, and comes very well equipped with standard features.  This is a great crossover for customers that want family vehicle utility without getting a minivan or large SUV.  Even with the full 6 passengers in the car, the cabin is roomy and the ride is smooth both on the highway and in city driving.  Driving a loaded Pacifica stands out in a crowd.

I would have to say that one of my qualities that makes life easy for my customers is that I take a personal interest in making sure that they are leaving the store in a better situation than they started.  It is my personal goal to have a positive impact on not only my customers' buying experience while they are here, but also after they have left my company.  I have the opportunity to learn every single day from this business, and I enjoy passing that knowledge on to my customers for their benefit. In this business it is very easy to become rushed and to miss essential details.  I try my hardest to ensure that all of my customers have the same opportunities to learn about all aspects of their buying/leasing experience.

Every day offers something interesting.  One of the most important highlights of my career is working with our staff here at Richmond.  I have learned much from them over the past few years, and will continue to do so.  I have come a long way from when I started and this is attributed to cooperation with co-workers and the general helpful attitude that our employees have. I try to stay in constant verbal contact with all of my customers.  I want everyone to understand that I am available at any time to make sure that a minor problem does not turn into a full blown natural disaster. I have learned that listening is very important, whether you are at your place of business or otherwise.  If you can interpret what someone needs and wants, you will be able to communicate much more effectively with that person.

Be prepared when shopping for a vehicle.  This is typically the second largest purchase or investment that a person makes during their lifetime, and it can happen as frequently as every 24 months or even sooner.  The more information that I have available to me as a salesperson, the better I can do my job, and that means a better experience for my customers.  Some questions I would ask myself to better prepare for looking at new vehicles: what type of vehicle do I want? What type of budget have I set aside for both a new car payment and money down?  Are there any credit concerns that could affect my purchase/lease?  What is the most important aspect of the vehicle's equipment that will suit my family's needs?
